From the city, take the A377 north (signposted Crediton), until on the Cowley Bridge Road. Immediately after passing the Esso petrol station on your left, turn right into Lower Argyll Road, signposted Duryard Halls. Take the first right and fork left into Copplestone Drive. At the top of this hill, go directly ahead, at which point you will see “High Croft” in gold lettering set into the brick wall to the right of the road. Number 5 is now the third house on your left. (If you come to High Croft Court, then you have gone too far up the hill.)

If you are arriving in Exeter from the north (Crediton, Tiverton, Thorverton, Silverton etc), then after the Cowley Bridge roundabout, drive south along the A377 Cowley Bridge Road for about half a mile. Turn left immediately before the Esso petrol station, into Lower Argyll Road. Directions are then as above.

Clydesdale AveTurn right into High Croft.

By cycle and on foot, the most enjoyable route is through the university, via Streatham Drive. Continue uphill passing Reed Hall on your right, then turn left into Clydesdale Avenue following the arrow to Duryard Halls. Continue through the barriers at the end, at which point there is a steep set of steps down to Birks Grange. Ignore these, continuing straight on down a narrow footpath. When you emerge after about 80 metres onto a road, turn right, up into High Croft.
